Uploading images to Tracy

First, thanks for sending me your photos.

You can use this page to upload your images to me using upload box in the column to the right.

Now, here are some tips to getting the best possible print from your image files.
Please send me the biggest dimension original image file you have. That's probably just as it came out of the camera. Likely dimensions are 4000 x 6000 pixels or higher.

I get best results from a raw file. If you develop your own raw files, then please send me the TIF. JPEG files are the last choice, because they are the most "pre-baked" and therefore the most resistant to quality adjustments.

16-bit files are
much better for editing than .jpg 8-bit files. Particularly if you edit your image, for example in Photoshop, please be sure it's in 16-bit or larger format. Editing files which are 8-bit virtually always results in image with artifacts, which will show up in the print. I can fix them, but it takes a lot of time, and so the print will end up costing you more.

If you want me to convert your image to B&W, please send the
color original file.

Now... let me get to work!

PLEASE !!
DO NOT SHARPEN YOUR IMAGE
DO NOT ENLARGE IT EITHER.

I need to do those myself, appropriate to the final print.

How To Upload:

Just drag-n-drop your files on to the cloud-with-arrow in the red-outlined box, below. Then enter your email address. (You may add a note to me if you like.) When you are ready, click the "Upload" button. The website will notify me when your upload completes.

STAY ON THIS PAGE UNTIL THE UPLOAD FINISHES!
(if you don't stay, the upload will cancel!)

(Please keep your total file size under 5 GB or the upload may stop before it's done.)

How to upload a folder full of images

Uploading multiple files is less work and more successful if you will first zip (compress) the file or folder before sending, and then upload that compressed file.

Here's how to do that:

Note - Uploads must not be larger than 5 gigabyte.
